Ajim Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in technology companies building Africa’s core digital infrastructure. The firm invests at the pre-seed and seed stages, with Fund II offering checks of $250K–$500K. Its investment focus includes businesses solving major infrastructure and technology challenges across Sub-Saharan Africa. Beyond capital, Ajim provides hands-on support with hiring, distribution, fundraising, strategic partnerships, and access to its global network of investors and operators.
Eligibility Criteria
Startups must be technology-driven businesses operating in or serving Sub-Saharan African markets. The opportunity is open to pre-seed and seed-stage startups building scalable businesses, particularly in fintech, commerce, logistics, vertical SaaS, AI & automation, and developer tools. Founders should demonstrate strong founder-market fit, early traction or evidence of demand, a clear distribution advantage, and potential to build a category-leading company. Ajim Capital leads or co-leads investments and can invest $250K–$500K as a first cheque.
