About the Program
AI NATION is a Germany-based, equity-free AI accelerator and grant program that helps early-stage AI startups build, validate, and scale their products. The program provides funding, mentorship, investor introductions, cloud credits, workshops, and access to Germany's AI ecosystem in Berlin and Munich. It is designed for startups where AI is the core technology, not just an added feature.
Eligibility Criteria
Startup must be AI-first (AI should be the core technology). At least one technical founder or AI technical lead is required. Grant Program: Team of at least 2 committed founders. Early-stage (idea, prototype, or MVP). Must not be incorporated when the program starts. Core team should live in Germany (or have an eligible residence status in exceptional cases). Accelerator Program: Startup should have traction toward product-market fit. Must have a German legal entity or incorporate one within 2 months after the application deadline. At least one founder is expected to participate in Germany for key in-person activities. For Indian founders: You can apply only if you're based in Germany or are willing to establish a German company. If you're operating solely from India, you generally won't be eligible.
