About the Program
The EXIM Bank–SINE Seed Fund Programme, implemented in partnership with SINE at IIT Bombay, provides ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore in equity or equity-like investment to eligible Indian startups with the potential to export internationally. The programme supports innovative businesses developing commercially viable products or services, helping them develop, commercialise, and scale their operations in global markets.
Eligibility Criteria
Startups must be registered in India and recognised by DPIIT, with at least 51% Indian shareholding. Applicants must be incubated at SINE, IIT Bombay, or be willing to undergo its incubation process; iDEX challenge winners or startups referred by iDEX are also eligible to apply. The programme accepts startups at the working prototype stage, post-revenue pre-scale stage, or scale-up stage, provided their products or services have future export potential. Startups formed through the splitting or reconstruction of an existing business are not eligible.
